Claudio Luparello, Ph.D. (Cell Biology) is a Full Professor of Cytology and Histology at the University of Palermo, Italy. He has authored more than 90 publications and four book chapters and is the Editor of the book “Novel Aspects in PTHrP Physiopathology” (Nova Science) and two special issues (role of natural bioactive compounds in the rise and fall of cancers; hormone involvement in tissue development, physiology and oncogenesis) and two topics (molecular profiling and identification of molecular signatures associated with tissue development, tumorigenesis and anticancer agents' action; molecular and cellular aspects of the beneficial effects of natural products on chronic diseases) in Cancers (MDPI). He currently serves as an Editorial Board member for Biological Procedures Online, Biology (MDPI) and Cancers (MDPI). He is a member of GEI-SIBSC. His current research interests include human cancer cells, natural products, invasion, proliferation, apoptosis, autophagy, gene expression, anti-diabetic activity, anti-inflammatory activity, and anti-lipogenic activity.
