Assoc. prof. Dr. Tatiana Alexiou Ivanova is an associate professor at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU), Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences, Department of Sustainable Technologies. She is a member of the Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre and the Licensing Board of CZU, a member of the evaluation committee of the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education, a member of the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Energy and Construction of the Czech Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Scientific Board member of the Faculty of Horticulture of the Mendel University in Brno, and the CZU research team member in the V4 Biochar Platform. In her scientific and research work, she focuses on environmental technologies, renewable energies, biomass and biofuels, sustainable waste management, especially processing and utilization of agricultural residues. She is a Head of the Laboratory of Biofuels and Leader of an international Biomass and Environmental Engineering Research Team at FTA CZU. She is the author of over 70 scientific publications, including monographs, utility models, and patents, and a member of the editorial board or topical advisory panel of scientific journals like Agronomy and Agricultural Science. She has completed many teaching and training mobilities at partner universities abroad (in China, Estonia, Poland, Portugal, Cyprus, Moldova, etc.) and has long-term experience in solving national and international research and development projects.
