Dr Eduardo Quiles-Cucarella received his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 1993, and his PhD in the same University in 1998. In 1996, he joined the Systems and Control Engineering Department of the UPV as an Associate Professor. Since then, he has been teaching different subjects in the area of Control Engineering. He has been awarded five successful 5-year teaching periods. He is a full researcher at the Instituto de Automática e Informática Industrial (ai2) at the UPV. He has participated in more than 20 research projects with public and private funding. His research activity has led to many publications in international journals (more than 50 publications indexed in Web of Science) and to his participation in more than 80 international conferences. He has four recognised 6-year research periods.
