Eduardo Quiles-Cucarella received the M.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 1993, and the Ph.D. in the same University in 1998. In 1996 he joined the Systems and Control Engineering Department of the UPV, where he is Associate Professor. Since then he has been teaching in different subjects in the area of Control Engineering, Modelling and Control. He has supervised more than 30 bachelor degree and master degree theses and he has directed 2 PhD theses. He has been awarded four successful 5-year teaching periods. He is full researcher in the Instituto de Automática e Informática Industrial (ai2) at the UPV. He has participated in more than 20 research projects with public and private funding. His research activity has led to many publications in international journals (10 in Q1/Q2 categories) and to his participation in more than 70 international conferences. He has 3 recognized six-year research periods.
