Javier Molina received his B.Eng. degree in industrial electronics and his M.Sc. in management from Instituto Tecnológico de Chihuahua, México in 1993 and 2002, and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering at CINVESTAV Guadalajara, México in 2013. He is currently a full-time professor and coordinator of the M.Eng. in Manufacturing at the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez. He is a lecturer of stack-up analysis and measurement systems analysis; synthesis of controllers using discrete event systems; design for manufacturing methodologies; and computational intelligence applied to control. His research interests focus on product and machine design, process control, and the improvement of manufacturing process management. He has been a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers since 2006.
