Santiago, Aveiro, Portugal. She completed her Ph.D. in Optoelectronics and Electronic Systems at the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC) in 2015. Her research interests are optical fiber sensors; microstructured optical fibers; optofluidics; interferometers; and physical and chemical sensing.
