Dr. Jonas Matijošius is a Professor and Chief Research Fellow at the Mechanical Science Institute of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Vilnius Tech), where he also heads the Laboratory of Experimental Mechanics. He received a Doctor of Engineering Sciences degree with a specialization in biofuels. His research interests include automotive transport engineering, alternative fuels, and sustainable mobility solutions. Dr. Matijošius has authored and co-authored more than 120 scientific publications indexed in Clarivate Analytics Web of Science, as well as contributions to monographs. He is actively involved in teaching and supervision of students in the field of automotive engineering and collaborates on international research projects. At Vilnius Tech, he contributes to advancing knowledge and innovation in vehicle technologies and energy efficiency.
