Saeed Mian Qaisar obtained his M.S and PhD degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the INP (Institute National Polytechnic) of Grenoble, Grenoble Alpes University, France in 2005 and 2009, respectively. Subsequently, he undertook a postdoctoral stay at the INP (Institute National Polytechnic) of Bordeaux, University of Bordeaux, France. Afterward, he worked in different R&D positions in different institutions in France.
Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Effat University, Saudi Arabia. He has several research publications and two patents to his credit and is on the technical review committee of several international conferences and journals. He is also serving as an editor for certain reputed international journals. His current area of research interest includes event-driven systems, signal processing, circuits and systems, machine learning, sampling theory, computational complexity, embedded systems, bioinformatics, battery management systems, healthcare, positron emission tomography scanners, smart meters, and smart grids.
