Md. Mahbub Alam is a professor at Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen, China) since 2012. He received MEng and PhD degrees from Kitami Institute of Technology, Japan, in 2001 and 2004, all in Mechanical Engineering. He has supervised 9 postdocs, 6 PhD students and 47 masters students. More than 300 technical articles are authored and co-authored, including 138 SCI journal papers. His papers are well cited, 3102 (h-index 32) in WoS database and 4847 (h-index 40) in google database. He has been listed as highly cited researcher for 2018 (single year) and 2020 (single year) by Web of Science, ranked top 2% in both years.
