Susana Novella holds a degree in Pharmacy and PhD in Physiology from the University Complutense of Madrid. She is a Professor of Physiology at the Faculty of Medicine at University of Valencia and Researcher at the INCLIVA Biomedical Research Institute. Her research focuses on the study of the vascular effects of estrogen, particularly on cultured endothelial cells, and on vascular reactivity in an aged mouse model of experimental menopause to determine the mechanisms of endothelial dysfunction. In recent years, her research has also included the study of non-coding RNA involved in sex differences in cardiovascular diseases.
