G.G. Flores-Rojas earned a Ph.D. in Sciences from the Institute of Nuclear Sciences, UNAM in collaboration with Riken, Japan, and received an honorable mention for the achievements obtained. Additionally, Flores-Rojas was a member of the National System of Researchers, Level I. Flores-Rojas has specialized in the gamma radiation-promoted synthesis of polymeric materials and composites with stimulus-response properties for biomedical applications, focusing on their anti-infective properties through drug loading and release, as well as nanoparticle loading and enzyme immobilization. Additionally, Flores-Rojas has carried out the synthesis of dendrimers with optoelectronic properties and organometallic catalysts for C-C coupling, publishing more than 39 articles, and served as a Special Issue editor at Polymers, MDPI, as well as being a member of the organizing committee of international congresses.
