G.G. Flores-Rojas earned a Ph.D. in Sciences from
the Institute of Nuclear Sciences, UNAM in
collaboration with Riken, Japan, and received an
honorable mention for the achievements
obtained. Additionally, Flores-Rojas was a
member of the National System of Researchers,
Level I. Flores-Rojas has specialized in the gamma
radiation-promoted synthesis of polymeric materials and composites
with stimulus-response properties for biomedical applications, focusing
on their anti-infective properties through drug loading and release, as
well as nanoparticle loading and enzyme immobilization. Additionally,
Flores-Rojas has carried out the synthesis of dendrimers with
optoelectronic properties and organometallic catalysts for C-C coupling,
publishing more than 39 articles, and served as a Special Issue editor at
Polymers, MDPI, as well as being a member of the organizing committee
of international congresses.
