Along with the many potentials in developing the tourism sector and impressive research in the tourism sector, in the last ten years, interest in studying and researching the sustainability of the development of Indonesia's tourism sector has continued to increase significantly. However, despite the increase, the scientific literature published so far has not evaluated in detail the sustainability of Indonesia's tourism development. This study analyzed 861 articles published until February 2021 in the Scopus database on Indonesia's tourism development sustainability. In conducting the analysis, the VosViewer software was used to find results about the most contributing authors, the number of citations, regions, organization, publica-tions and co-occurrences of keywords that could provide new gaps in future research. The results obtained showed trends and impacts of literature published to date, then new gaps/novelties for further research related to the themes of sport tourism, mangrove tourism, sharia tourism and Indonesia's tourism resilience were found. With these results, the next researchers should raise the theme so that Indonesian tourism's sustainability can develop adequately to have a more significant impact in the future.

This article compares the implementation of community-based forest management (CBFM) practices between South Korea and Indonesia and discusses the political and legal basis of land and natural resources of the two countries. A triangulation method was used for data collection and analysis. As a result, this study developed a theory about successful community institution development on forest management and recommendations for policy at local and national government levels. The Indonesian Government can learn from the success of the Korean Government in implementing CBFM sustainability and articulate local institutions’ strategies.

This research aims to determine women's representation in the DPR RI as a legislative body in Indonesia during the general election in 2019 and determine the factors that influence women's representation in the legislative body. This paper's research method uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach that examines theories, references, and previous scientific literature related to the research object. The findings of the study indicate the level of representation of women in parliament after the holding of the general elections in 2019 has not reached 30%, where the level of representation of women in parliament is still in the number of 20.52% or as many as 118 female legislators and is still dominated by male legislators which reached 457 people or 79.48%. Although it has not reached 30%, the adoption of affirmative policies has led to a significant increase in women's representation in parliament, from 65 women legislators in 2004 to 118 women legislators in the 2019 general election. Political regulation factors with affirmative action and zipper system are two factors that affect women's representation by political parties. Affirmative action mandates every political party participating in the election to pay attention to women's representation of 30% by nominating female candidates for each electoral district. A zipper system requires parties to position at least one woman every three names of candidates. In general elections, political parties present legislation to the legislature. The affirmative action that regulates women's representation's involvement has become the main reason numerous events involve kinship the candidacy.

Effective city solid waste management has become a critical issue for communities globally due to the rapid pace of urbanization and increasing environmental concerns. The convergence of economic development and environmental preservation in Batam City, Indonesia, has underscored the necessity for inventive waste management approaches. This study examines the impact of dynamic governance and community empowerment in addressing the intricate waste issue in Batam City. The research uses a qualitative approach to investigate the underlying reasons for waste management difficulties. It investigates how adaptive governance might improve stakeholder cooperation and decision-making based on facts. Effective policy implementation relies on public interaction, yet meaningful participation remains difficult. Prior research suggests that individuals are more inclined to engage in matters that directly impact them, and ambiguous implementation protocols and a lack of confidence in political establishments frequently hinder community engagement in environmental policy. The waste management techniques in Batam City are conventional and inefficient due to limited government resources, highlighting the necessity for a more comprehensive strategy. The study's results indicate that implementing dynamic governance, which involves the flexibility to adapt and collaborate with stakeholders, can enhance waste management procedures. In addition, applying social capital theory can facilitate community empowerment, leading to a heightened sense of ownership and active engagement in waste management initiatives. Communities can enhance the effectiveness and durability of waste management systems by utilizing social networks, trust, and shared standards. This study emphasizes the significance of integrating inventive governance approaches with community-led efforts to tackle urban trash issues and advance sustainable development in Batam City.
