Roberto Pinto is Full Professor at the University of Bergamo (Italy). He graduated in Management Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, and received his PhD in Design and Management of Integrated Production-Logistics Systems at the University of Brescia. He is member, and leads the research activities in the Supply Chain Management Area, of the CELS – Research Group on Industrial Engineering, Logistics, and Service Operations at the University of Bergamo (cels.unibg.it). His current research interests include logistics and supply chain management topics, with a specific focus on logistics systems, supply chain optimization and serious gaming. On these topics, he has published three books and more than 60 papers in international journals and conference proceedings.
