Dr. Peggy Alvarez Gutiérrez

Peggy Elizabeth Alvarez Gutiérrez. PhD in Biotechnology Sciences. Biochemical engineer. CONACYT Professor commissioned to the Tecnológico Nacional de México-Instituto Tecnológico de Tuxtla Gutiérrez. She has been a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI by its Spanish acronym) Level 1 and the State System of Researchers (SEI, Chiapas). She directs and advises two PhD students, she has directed master’s students. She has published more than ten articles in indexed journals, book chapters, co-author of a book, co-author of a patent registration under evaluation. Currently, she is a research professor in the program Ingeniería Bioquímica, Maestría en Ciencias en Ingeniería Bioquímica and Doctorado en Ciencias en Alimentos y Biotecnología
