Roberto Avelino Cecílio holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (1999), as well as a Master's (2002) and PhD (2005) in Agricultural Engineering from the same institution. Since 2006, he serves as a full professor at the Federal University of Espírito Santo. His area of expertise is Agricultural Engineering, with a particular emphasis on water resources. His research interests include hydrological modeling, watershed management, agrometeorology, and the application of geoprocessing in the planning and management of water resources.
