Prof. Dr. Qibing Chen is the director of the Provincial Key Laboratory of Landscape Architecture and Floriculture, College of Landscape Architecture, Sichuan Agricultural University. He is now for China's state council allowance from the government, academic and technical leaders of Sichuan province, Sichuan province outstanding contribution expert, doctor of Nanjing Forestry University, the discipline appraisal group members of the State Council, China's forestry association garden branch secretary general, the Chinese society of landscape architecture education branch, deputy director of the Chinese landscape architecture, deputy director of the institute of horticultural therapy and gardens, Director of Culture, Health and Nutrition Association of China Bamboo Industry Association, and deputy director of Bamboo Branch of Chinese Society of Forestry. He has been engaged in landscape architecture teaching research and talent training for a long time. He has presided over and researched one second prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award, three first prize in the provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, six second prizes in the provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, eight third prizes, and eight other awards. His research areas include park city and landscape planning and design, bamboo forest landscape integration, forest health care, wetland park construction and wetland ecological restoration.
