Zhe Li is an Associate Professor at the Research Laboratory in Hydrodynamics, Energetics & Atmospheric Environment (LHEEA), École Centrale de Nantes. He graduated from Beihang University and received his B.S. in Aeronautical Power Engineering. Then, he went to Centrale Lyon and received his Engineer's degree & Master's degree in Hydraulics and Fluid Power Technology and a Ph.D. in Mechanics. He also completed his postdoctoral training at the Ecole Centrale de Marseille. His research interests include Coupling algorithms for fluid-structure interaction (FSI), such as the blood-aortic valve interaction, piezoelectric energy harvesting, etc.; Numerical methods for computational fluid dynamics (CFD), such as SPH, LBM, FVM, etc.; and Gas kinetic theory and numerical schemes.
