The accurate segmentation of land cover in high-resolution remote sensing imagery is crucial for applications such as urban planning, environmental monitoring, and disaster management. However, traditional convolutional neural networks (CNNs) struggle to balance fine-grained local detail with large-scale contextual information. To tackle these challenges, we combine large-kernel convolutions, attention mechanisms, and multi-scale feature fusion to form a novel LKAFFNet framework that introduces the following three key modules: LkResNet, which enhances feature extraction through parameterizable large-kernel convolutions; Large-Kernel Attention Aggregation (LKAA), integrating spatial and channel attention; and Channel Difference Features Shift Fusion (CDFSF), which enables efficient multi-scale feature fusion. Experimental comparisons demonstrate that LKAFFNet outperforms previous models on both the LandCover dataset and WHU Building dataset, particularly in cases with diverse scales. Specifically, it achieved a mIoU of 0.8155 on the LandCover dataset and 0.9326 on the WHU Building dataset. These findings suggest that LKAFFNet significantly improves land cover segmentation performance, offering a more effective tool for remote sensing applications.

The Building Safe Water Use Plan promoted by the Macao Marine and Water Bureau aims to encourage property management entities to regularly maintain building water supply systems to ensure the safety and stability of drinking water. However, traditional laboratory testing methods are often time-consuming and labor-intensive, making real-time and efficient water quality monitoring challenging. To address this issue, this study proposes a Raspberry Pi-based multi-sensor system for rapid water quality detection and improved monitoring efficiency. This system integrates multiple sensors to measure key water quality parameters, such as pH, total dissolved solids (TDSs), temperature, and turbidity, while recording data in real-time. The data were continuously collected over a period of five months (July to November 2024). The collected data were analyzed and validated using machine learning algorithms, including Isolation Forest, Random Forest, Logistic Regression, and Local Outlier Factor. Among these models, Random Forest exhibited the best overall performance, achieving an accuracy of 98.10% and an F1 score of 98.99%. These results show that the dataset demonstrates high reliability in anomaly detection and classification tasks, accurately identifying deviations in water quality. This approach not only enhances the efficiency of water quality monitoring but also provides technological support for urban drinking water safety management.

In recent years, the number of telecom frauds has increased significantly, causing substantial losses to people’s daily lives. With technological advancements, telecom fraud methods have also become more sophisticated, making fraudsters harder to detect as they often imitate normal users and exhibit highly similar features. Traditional graph neural network (GNN) methods aggregate the features of neighboring nodes, which makes it difficult to distinguish between fraudsters and normal users when their features are highly similar. To address this issue, we proposed a spatio-temporal graph attention network (GDFGAT) with feature difference-based weight updates. We conducted comprehensive experiments on our method on a real telecom fraud dataset. Our method obtained an accuracy of 93.28%, f1 score of 92.08%, precision rate of 93.51%, recall rate of 90.97%, and AUC value of 94.53%. The results showed that our method (GDFGAT) is better than the classical method, the latest methods and the baseline model in many metrics; each metric improved by nearly 2%. In addition, we also conducted experiments on the imbalanced datasets: Amazon and YelpChi. The results showed that our model GDFGAT performed better than the baseline model in some metrics.

Change detection is an important technique that identifies areas of change by comparing images of the same location taken at different times, and it is widely used in urban expansion monitoring, resource exploration, land use detection, and post-disaster monitoring. However, existing change detection methods often struggle with balancing the extraction of fine-grained spatial details and effective semantic information integration, particularly for high-resolution remote sensing imagery. This paper proposes a high-resolution remote sensing image change detection model called FFLKCDNet (First Fusion Large-Kernel Change Detection Network) to solve this issue. FFLKCDNet features a Bi-temporal Feature Fusion Module (BFFM) to fuse remote sensing features from different temporal scales, and an improved ResNet network (RAResNet) that combines large-kernel convolution and multi-attention mechanisms to enhance feature extraction. The model also includes a Contextual Dual-Land-Cover Attention Fusion Module (CD-LKAFM) to integrate multi-scale information during the feature recovery stage, improving the resolution of details and the integration of semantic information. Experimental results showed that FFLKCDNet outperformed existing methods on datasets such as GVLM, SYSU, and LEVIR, achieving superior performance in metrics such as Kappa coefficient, mIoU, MPA, and F1 score. The model achieves high-precision change detection for remote sensing images through multi-scale feature fusion, noise suppression, and fine-grained information capture. These advancements pave the way for more precise and reliable applications in urban planning, environmental monitoring, and disaster management.
