Dr. Nataša Knežević received her Master's degree in Biotechnology Engineering in 2018 and Environmental Engineering in 2019 from the University of Belgrade and now holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the same university. She worked as a Research Associate at the Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences, an institute of national importance for the Republic of Serbia. In 2022, she moved to the Institute as a Research Trainee. Her research focuses on the functionalization of lignocellulosic waste, the synthesis of membranes for pollutant removal, advanced material characterization, and the development of environmentally friendly processes for effluent treatment.
