I am Manoj Kumar Adhikari, a scientific officer (Chemist) with the Nepal Government, currently working in the Plant Research Center, Dhanusha , based in Janakpurdham. Born on May 2, 1985, in Mahottari, Nepal, I have always had a passion for science and its practical applications in improving public health and the environment. My academic journey began with a solid foundation in the sciences. After completing my School Leaving Certificate (SLC) from Shree Kishori Janta Secondary School in 2057 BS, I pursued higher secondary education at Dhanusha Science Campus in Janakpur. Driven by a keen interest in chemistry, I went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Microbiology, Chemistry, and Zoology from Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, securing a first division. I furthered my education with a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, in 2070 BS, also achieving first division honors. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD at the Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), Tribhuvan University. My research focuses on surfactant interactions in mixed solvent systems and their corrosion inhibition potential on mild steel in acidic media. My work aims to contribute to both theoretical understanding and practical applications in the field of surface chemistry and corrosion science. Over the years, I have gained substantial experience working in water quality testing laboratories across Nepal, in
