Mehmet Çağrı Soylu received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University and is an
Associate Professor at Erciyes University. His research focuses on advanced
biosensing technologies, including electrochemical, impedimetric,
piezoelectric, and optical sensor platforms. He has developed QCM-based genetic
and chemical detection systems operating without nucleic acid isolation or
amplification, green solid electrolyte impedimetric sensors, and microcrack-enabled smart materials for biological and environmental monitoring. He is the
inventor of a piezoelectric plate sensor (PEPS) technology and a
spectrophotometer device, and has led multiple TÜBİTAK and BAP funded projects.
His work spans smart materials, microfluidics, environmental analytics, and
next-generation biosensor interfaces.
