Burak Gökbulut completed a four-year undergraduate program in 2001. He then started a masters program at Ege University-Department of Turkish Folklore in 2001. In 2010 he completed his doctorate. He has been working at the Near East University since 2008. His research interests include folklore, literature, Turkology, beliefs, culture and education. He has many publications in various journals indexed in Web of Science, Scopus, EBSCO etc. He has also presented many papers about his field in various congresses and conferences.
