He then started his master's program at Ege University-Department of Turkish World Literatures in 2001, in 2010 he completed his doctorate. He has been working at Near East University since 2007. His research interests include literature, Turkology, culture, and education. He has many publications in various journals indexed in Web of Science, Scopus, EBSCO, etc. He has also presented many papers about his field at multiple congresses and conferences.
