Asad Waqar Malik received his master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the National University of Sciences
and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan, with majors in parallel and distributed simulation/
systems. He is an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer
Science, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST-SEECS). He is also a Senior Lecturer
with the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology,
University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His primary research interests include distributed simulation, cloud/fog computing, and the Internet of Things.
