Prof. Dr. Cheng Zhong

Dr. Cheng Zhong is a professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Tianjin University. He has been awarded as a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Prior to joining Tianjin University, he worked as an associate professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. in materials science from Fudan University in 2004 and 2009, respectively. He received support from the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars and the National Youth Talent Support Program. Dr. Zhong was ranked as the top 1% of Highly Cited Researchers in the world. His recent research interests focus on advanced electrolytes for high-performance batteries.
