Between 2012 and 2018, Post-doc researcher at University of Minho (UM) and invited Assistant Professor (2015-2018) in Food Science and Technology and Nutrition PhD program in UM. Since 2018, Senior Researcher UCP at Alchemy Project, involved in the valorisation of cellulose-based products (e.g. delivery systems) and responsible for Microbiology and Structural platforms. Research interest includes valorization of industry by-products and development and characterization of high-added value products (e.g. nanomaterials, nanodelivery systems and nanocomposites), mainly for food applications.
