Biography
Prof. Dr. Tahir has been teaching atthe Department of Statistics, Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), since 1992. He earned his MSc and PhD from IUB in 1990 and 2010, respectively. In his PhD research, he concentrated on the construction of experimental and sampling designs. In 2012, he switched his interests to distribution theory. Nowadays, he has been working on generalized classes (or generators), and compounding and modifications of distributions.
