Martin Krejsa works at VSB - Technical University of Ostrava. His research focuses mainly on the Theory of Structures, the reliability of metal structures, fatigue, probabilistic assessment, etc. In 2018, Martin Krejsa received the "Merit for Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czestochowa University of Technology, Poland" honor statue, and in 2021, he received the Memorial medal for significant contributions to cooperation at the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.
