Guo Xingzhong is a male professor and doctoral supervisor, who serves as the director of China Silicate Society, the vice president of Sol–Gel Branch of China Silicon Society, the president of Hangzhou Silicate Society, and the member of the Optoelectronic Materials and Devices Professional Committee of China Rare Earth Society. He has long been engaged in the research and development of new battery materials, electrolytic water catalytic materials, and flexible transparent film materials and devices, focusing on the controllable preparation and electrochemical performance regulation of lithium-rich mangane-based oxide cathode materials, multi-stage porous transition metal oxide battery materials, porous/bicontinuous silicon carbon cathode materials, single-atom catalytic materials, and high-activity transition metal electrocatalytic materials. He also works on the green synthesis of high-purity ultra-fine silver nanowires, large-area coating technology of flexible transparent conductive silver nanowires, and design and preparation technology of flexible optoelectronic devices. He has been responsible for more than 30 projects, such as the National fund, the National key research and development Plan, the National support plan, the Provincial key Science and Technology Special project, the Provincial key research and development plan, the Provincial Natural Science Foundation, Innovation Fund, and key projects of the Ministry of Education.
