Organomineral potassium humate was extracted from coal mining waste from the Lenger deposit (Turkestan region, Kazakhstan) by alkaline extraction using an aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide. The time and temperature of the process were investigated for the degree of extraction and yield of the product. A comprehensive study of the physicochemical properties of the raw material and the resulting production potassium humate was carried out by chemical analysis, scanning electron microscope, energy dispersion, IR-Fourier spectrometric and X-ray diffractographic analyses. The maximum degree of extraction and yield of the product wasachieved at 80 °C and 90 min. Moreover, the experimental data were subjected to kinetic processing, as a result of which it was established that the process of extraction of potassium humate occurs in the external diffusion region.
The present study investigates the process of selective leaching of low-grade phosphate ore of the Karatau basin using organic acids such as formic and citric acids. Chemical and instrumental analyses of the investigated phosphate ore were carried out, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX), and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Based on experimental data, reaction rate constants were calculated, and the obtained activation energies for each of the reagents were used. The reaction rate constants indicate that formic acid led to a more gradual increase in P2O5 concentration over time, while citric acid demonstrates a more significant increase in phosphorus concentration at all temperatures, especially at 70 °C. The activation energy for formic acid is 14.69 kJ/mol, indicating a diffusion-controlled reaction mechanism, whereas the activation energy for citric acid is higher, i.e., 35.78 kJ/mol, suggesting a more complex mechanism involving both diffusion and chemical processes. The present study highlights the importance of selecting appropriate reaction conditions to achieve maximum efficiency for the leaching of phosphate ore, depending on both temperature and reagent used.

The article presents the results of studies of the process of obtaining NPK fertilizer from low-grade phosphate raw materials with P 2 O 5 of about 18%. Phosphate raw materials were leached with a mixture of nitric-phosphoric acids with the addition of potassium carbonate, which serves as a source of potassium in the final product. The main parameters determined were the content of the main nutrients P 2 O 5 :N:K 2 O, temperature and time of the leaching process. According to the graphical method, the “apparent” activation energy of the heterogeneous process is found, which is equal to 3.8 kJ/mol indicates the intradiffusion nature of the process. Methods of chemical analysis, scanning electron microscopy and XRD analysis were used for a comprehensive study of raw materials and final products.
This article presents the results of research on the leaching of solid phosphorus-containing waste with humic acid. Such waste includes the by-products of the electrothermal processing of phosphate raw materials—phosphorus sludge and cottrel dust. Chemical and X-ray diffraction analyses have been used to study their composition and phase structure, according to which these substances have an amorphous structure. The leaching of phosphoric sludge and cottrel dust was investigated by varying the main parameters. The obtained data were processed using the method of formal kinetics to study the features of the process. The reaction rate constants and the apparent activation energy were calculated, and the values found made it possible to determine that the process under study is limited by diffusion. The scientific novelty of the article is the use of humic acid for leaching phosphoric solid waste as opposed to traditional methods. This new method may offer improved efficiency, reduced environmental impact, and a potential alternative solution for the processing of phosphoric waste.

This study investigates the thermal properties of water-electrolyte mixtures, specifically focusing on binary and ternary electrolyte solutions over a concentration range of 0.01 mol%–23.5 mol% at two constant temperatures (20°C and 40°C). The results indicate that the specific Heat Capacity (Cp) and Thermal Conductivity (λ) exhibit polynomial dependencies on the ionic radius and charge density. As the ionic radius increases from 0.72 Å (Co²⁺) to 1.65 Å (Cs⁺), Cp decreases by up to 12%. As the charge density increases from 0.0468 C/Ų (Cs⁺) to 0.4921 C/Ų (Co²⁺), Cp increases by up to 15%, while λ decreases by 8%-20% with an increasing charge density, confirming the influence of hydration. These results provide a quantitative framework for electrolyte-based thermal applications in energy storage, water treatment, and thermodynamic modeling.
