Prof. Dr. Benedetta Turchetti earned, from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Perugia, a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies (2001) and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology of Fungi (2005). In 2005, she worked as a Research Scientist at the Department of Applied Biology, Section of Microbiology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Perugia. Now, she is Associated Professor in the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences of the same university. She is also a member of the Italian Society of Agricultural, Environmental, and Food Microbiology. Her skills and expertise include Microbial Ecology, Microbial Biotechnology, Microbial Diversity, PCR, Environmental Microbiology, Microbiology, Pathogens, Biotechnology, and Antibiotics and Molecular Microbiology.
