Dr David L. Dean is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Lincoln University, New Zealand. His latest research direction is the marketing of experiential products (specifically food, wine, and tourism) with a focus on consumer behavior and two-way social media strategies (major social media platforms, blogs, and internet forums). His main research focus has been services marketing with a focus on modeling of service quality and loyalty across a variety of contexts, but mostly in the tourism industry. David received his PhD in Business (1992) and MBA (1988) from University of Houston, and a BA in Music (1986) from Rice University.
