Assoc. Prof. Dr. Davut Ertekin received a Ph.D. degree in Power Electronics from Ataturk University, Türkiye, in 2017. He joined the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department (EEED), Bursa Technical University (BTU), Türkiye, as a Lecturer and then an Assistant Professor, in 2018. He currently holds the position of an Associate Professor with BTU. In 2019, he advanced his academic career as an Erasmus Scholar with the Politecnico di Bari, Italy. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering at the University of Western Australia in Perth, Australia. His research primarily focuses on power electronics, particularly DC-DC and bidirectional inverters/rectifier converters, controllers, electric vehicles, and material reliability tests for power converters used in renewable energy sources.
