She was born on September 30, 1972; master degree in Food Science and Technology, PhD in Food Biotechnology. From 2006 to 2015 she was researcher in Agricultural Microbiology, Basilicata University; after that, she became associate professor at Basilicata University. She is member of: —Italian Society of Microbiology (SIMTREA); —Microbiology Group, Enology Commission of OIV (Organisation Internationale de la Vigne et du Vin); —Accademia Italiana della Vite e del Vino. Her research activities are focused on the study of genetic and technological biodiversity among yeasts involved in agri-food production.
