Dr. Yong Li graduated from Northwestern Polytechnical University in July 1983 with a bachelor's degree in radar from the Department of Avionics Engineering. In March 1988, he received a master's degree in "Signals, Circuits and Systems" from Northwestern Polytechnical University. After graduating from Northwestern Polytechnical University in July 1983, he stayed at the university as an assistant professor. From 1988 to 1995, he worked as a lecturer in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Northwestern Polytechnical University. From 1996 to 2002, he worked as an associate professor and deputy director of the teaching and the research section of the Department of Electronic Engineering at Northwestern Polytechnical University. In July 2005, he received a doctorate in "Circuits and Systems" from Northwestern Polytechnical University. From 2002 to November 2010, he worked as a professor, doctoral supervisor and vice dean of the School of Electronic Information of Northwestern Polytechnical University. In December 2010, he was transferred to the Graduate School of Northwestern Polytechnical University as vice dean. From March to August 2009, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Texas at Arlington, USA.
