Celeste Caruso Bavisotto is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Palermo (2016 to present) and the National Research Council (CNR) (2018 to present). She obtained a Ph.D. in 2015 from the University of Palermo. She is an expert in the isolation and characterization of extracellular vesicles (EVs) from different sources and in the investigation of the role of their molecular cargo, especially the content of molecular chaperones and miRNAs, as diagnostic and/or prognostic factors for different human diseases.
