Lahcen Goumghar received a master’s degree in Hydroinformatics and Water Systems Management in 2019 from Ibn Tofail University, Faculty of Sciences, with a specialization in hydrology and environmental sciences. They are currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the same university, which they began in 2020. Their main research interests focus on flood risk issues, environmental hazards, and the use of remote sensing and GIS tools for monitoring and managing hydrological systems.
