Fernando Jiménez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communications and Information Engineering
at the University of Murcia. He received an M.D. in Computer Science in 1991 from the University of Granada. He obtained a PhD in 1996 from the University of Murcia for his research on Evolutionary Computation applied to Fuzzy Transportation Problems. His research interests include Evolutionary Computation, Multi-objective Constrained Optimization, Soft Computing, Evolutionary Fuzzy Systems, Data Mining and Big Data.
