Prof. Dr. 维林 李

Li Weilin, male, Han nationality, born in November 1966, Doctor of Science, researcher, doctoral supervisor. He graduated from the Department of Horticulture, Northwest Agricultural University, with an M.S. degree in fruit trees in July 1992, and graduated from Nanjing Agricultural University with a botany degree in October 1997. He was appointed as the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Nanjing Forestry University. He is a representative of the 10th and 11th Party Congress of Jiangsu Province. He belongs to the first batch of young and middle-aged science and technology leaders of Jiangsu Province from the "333 high-level talent training project". He is the vice chairman of the Jiangsu Agricultural Society and the vice chairman of the Jiangsu Rural Professional Technical Association. He has hosted and participated in more than 80 national and provincial science and technology projects, published more than 400 scientific papers, obtained 27 authorized invention patents, identified (validated) 16 plant varieties, published 6 monographs, and won 4 Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards, the Agricultural Science and Technology Achievement Promotion Award, and the Liang Xi Forestry Science and Technology Progress Award. His main research interests are economic forestry and fruit breeding and cultivation, the evaluation and exploitation of medicinal plant resources, and natural product chemistry.
