Prof. Dr. Paweł Szcześniak received their Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and D.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Zielona Góra, Zielona Góra, Poland, in 2010 and 2018, respectively. He is currently the Head of the Division of Power Electronics, Institute of Electrical Engineering, University of Zielona Góra. He has been involved in the realization of many national research projects. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed research papers and 1 book. His current research interests include power electronics systems in power networks, particularly the analysis, modeling, and properties study of ac/ac converters without dc energy storage, energy storage systems, and energy management with using smart home appliances.
