Prof. Dr. Xinhai Lu

Professor Dr. Xinhai Lu; Educational background: Graduated from Tongji University with a PhD in Management Engineering in 2001 and then worked as the postdoctoral fellow in Urban Economics at University of KULeuven, Belgium. Work experience: Professor and PhD supervisor, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, 2002~present; Professor and PhD supervisor, Central China Normal University, 2016~present; Research Interests: Land use and food security. He is the peer review expert of the National Natural Science Foundation, National Social Science Foundation, Humanities and Social Science Research Foundation of the Ministry of Education and other projects, and the national excellent doctoral dissertation evaluation expert. He is also a member of the China Land Society, China Land Appraisers Association, China College Real Estate Scholars Association, and China Construction Management Society, Vice chairman of Hubei Land Society, and a member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors (RICS) and American Society of Realtors (ARES). He is also the China registered real estate appraiser, land Appraiser, asset appraiser, cost engineer, consulting engineer (investment) and land registration agent.
