Dr. Mohammed is an assistant professor in the Department of Animal Production at the University of Duhok. He is interested in understanding and communicating how people perceive and respond to changes in markets within food and agricultural systems. His research employs an evidence-based approach that integrates individual-level decision-making mechanisms and market-level demand analysis. His current research focuses on three key areas: 1) applying choice experiments to understand consumer decision-making processes, 2) evaluating the factors influencing household solid-waste sorting behavior, and 3) examining consumer willingness to pay for environmental quality beyond borders in the food industry.
