Dr. Franxin Yi worked as a research fellow at the School of Social Development and Public Policy of Beijing Normal University. She is a PhD graduate of the National University of Singapore, specialized in urban resilience and public policy. She has published research in the Journal of Cleaner Production, Land Use Policy, Urban Geography, Sustainability, etc. She was the recipient of research funding from Ministry of Education Tier 2 research project of Singapore on Disaster Governance in Asia and also received a Peking University-Lincoln Institution Fellowship. She has years of urban planning consulting experience at the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design in China.
