A quantum secure direct communication and authentication protocol is proposed by using single photons. An information transmission is completed by sending photons once in quantum channel, which improves the efficiency without losing the security. The protocol encodes identity-string of the receiver as single photons sequence, which acts as detection sequence and implements authentication. Before secret message is encoded as single photons sequence, it is encrypted with identity-string of the sender by using XOR operation, which defends quantum teleportation attack efficiently. The base identity-strings of the sender and the receiver are reused unconditionally secure even in noisy channel. Compared with the protocol proposed by Wang et al. (Phys Lett A, 2006, 358: 256–258), the protocol in this study sends photons once in one transmission and defends most attacks including ‘man-in-the-middle’ attack and quantum teleportation attack efficiently.

The public cloud data integrity auditing technique is used to check the integrity of cloud data through the Third Party Auditor. In order to make it more practical, we propose a new paradigm called integrity auditing based on the keyword with sensitive information privacy for encrypted cloud data. This paradigm is designed for one of the most common scenario, that is, the user concerns the integrity of a portion of encrypted cloud files that contain his/her interested keywords. In our proposed scheme, the TPA who is only provided with the encrypted keyword, can audit the integrity of all encrypted cloud files that contain the user's interested keyword. Meanwhile, the TPA cannot deduce the sensitive information about which files contain the keyword and how many files contain this keyword. These salient features are realized by leveraging a newly proposed Relation Authentication Label (RAL). The RAL can not only authenticate the relation that files contain the queried keyword, but also be used to generate the auditing proof without sensitive information exposure. We give concrete security analysis showing that the proposed scheme satisfies correctness, auditing soundness and sensitive information privacy. We also conduct the detailed experiments to show the efficiency of our scheme.

Most of the existing quantum-inspired models are based on amplitude-phase embedding to model natural language, which maps words into Hilbert space. In quantum-computing theory, the vectors corresponding to quantum states are all complex values, so there is a gap between these two areas. Presently, complex-valued neural networks have been studied, but their practical applications are few, let alone in the downstream tasks of natural language processing such as sentiment analysis and language modeling. In fact, the complex-valued neural network can use the imaginary part information to embed hidden information and can express more complex information, which is suitable for modeling complex natural language. Meanwhile, quantum-inspired models are defined in Hilbert space, which is also a complex space. So it is natural to construct quantum-inspired models based on complex-valued neural networks. Therefore, we propose a new quantum-inspired model for NLP, ComplexQNN, which contains a complex-valued embedding layer, a quantum encoding layer, and a measurement layer. The modules of ComplexQNN are fully based on complex-valued neural networks. It is more in line with quantum-computing theory and easier to transfer to quantum computers in the future to achieve exponential acceleration. We conducted experiments on six sentiment-classification datasets comparing with five classical models (TextCNN, GRU, ELMo, BERT, and RoBERTa). The results show that our model has improved by 10% in accuracy metric compared with TextCNN and GRU, and has competitive experimental results with ELMo, BERT, and RoBERTa.
