Tomaž Katrašnik received the B.Sc. degree in physics and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Ljubljana, Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 1999, 2001, and 2004, respectively. He is a full professor and head of the Laboratory for Internal Combustion Engines and Electromobility at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. His research focuses on conventional, hybrid, electric and fuel cell powertrains, heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, combustion, heat transfer, unsteady gas dynamics, exhaust gas emissions and numerical simulations.
