Dr. Fuyi Wang received his PhD degree at Wuhan University in 1999, and then spent seven years as a research associate/fellow in inorganic biochemistry and molecular pharmacology at the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. In 2007 he was awarded with the Overseas Talent Program Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and appointed as a full professor in chemistry at the Institute of Chemistry, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he was appointed as the director of the National Centre for Mass Spectrometry in Beijing in 2015. Dr. Wang is also a professor at the College of Chemical Science, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests are centred on mass spectrometry and its applications in chemical biology and drug discovery. He has been a principal investigator for more than ten national key research projects, and so far, he has published more than 190 SCI-indexed papers in high impact journals and has been granted with nine Chinese patents and five international patents.
