Olga S. Carneiro is an Associate Professor with Habilitation at the Polymer Engineering Department of University of Minho, Portugal. Education activity Polymer Processing, Rheology and Eco-Design, in the frame of several Masters (Polymer Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Product Engineering), Graduation (Product Design), and Doctoral (Polymer Engineering and Science, and Materials Engineering) Programs. Research & Development activity Researcher of the Institute for Polymers and Composites (IPC). Researcher of projects with direct funding in collaboration with several national and international companies focusing on extrusion dies and calibrator design, the development of new extruded products, and additive manufacturing. Member of the research team/Principal Investigator of several scientific projects funded by the Portuguese Science Foundation (FCT) and co-funded projects carried out with industry. Supervisor of 6 PhD and 33 MSc theses, completed with success, and of several researchers in the frame of industrial and scientific projects. Publications She edited 2 books, and she is the author or co-author of 14 book chapters, 80 papers published in international refereed journals, 4 patents, and 194 communications presented in international conferences.
