The development and implementation of scientifically substantiated solutions for the improvement and modernization of electromechanical devices, systems, and complexes, including electric drives, is an urgent theoretical and applied task for energetics, industry, transport, and other key areas, both in global and national contexts. The aim of this paper is to identify a rational model of an induction motor that balances computational simplicity and control system performance based on predictive approaches while ensuring maximum energy efficiency and reference tracking during the operation in dynamic modes. Five main mathematical models of an induction machine with different levels of detail have been selected. Three predictive control models have been implemented using GRAMPC (v 2.2), Matlab MPC Toolbox (v 24.1), and fmincon (R2024a) (from Matlab Optimization Toolbox). It has been established that in the dynamic mode of operation, the equivalent induction motor circuit with parameters Rfe =const, Lμ=fI1d, and TF=f(ωRm) is the most appropriate in terms of the following criteria: accuracy of control action generation, computation speed, and calculation of energy consumption.

The use of small-scale wind turbines (SSWTs) in private households not only allows for increased renewable energy generation, but also improved grid stability and resilience of individual regions. However, there are strict requirements regarding the efficiency, reliability and electrical safety of SSWTs because of their low power levels, long payback period and the fact that they are installed nearby residential areas. This paper proposes a novel yaw inductive power transfer system, based on multilevel inverter, which mitigates the main disadvantages of SSWTs - slip rings, low voltage energy generation etc. The system utilizes low voltage MOSFETs in multilevel boost-series resonant topology combined with ZVS techniques to maximize efficiency. The operating principle, switching waveforms and behavior of the inverter are described and analyzed. Cell voltage balancing algorithms are presented as well. Two different control techniques for power flow regulation have been introduced and compared. The effectiveness of the proposed solution has been verified by building a 3.3 kW prototype system and comprehensive measuring of its performance. The experimental results show that peak power transfer efficiency reaches 92.5% while converting generator voltage from 60 V DC to grid compatible 400 V DC.

Purpose. To develop and carry out experimental testing of a laboratory testbench for remote control of a diaphragm compressor with PID control capability, integrated into the architecture of a WebHMI-based SCADA system, suitable for educational and research purposes in the field of automated electric drive and control engineering. Methodology. Methods of critical analysis and logical generalisation of research results in the field of remote control, automatic control theory, computer modelling, and experimental verification of the functional characteristics of the system were used. The developed methodology included architecture design, integration of hardware and software components, tuning of PID controller parameters, and verification of system performance under remote access conditions. Findings. The structural architecture of the stand was implemented, combining a programmable logic controller, frequency converter, Raspberry PI, video cameras and WebHMI into a single information environment. Real-time monitoring and control, data archiving and experimental scenario playback were provided. Verification tests confirmed the correctness of data exchange, the stability of PID control to changes in settings and external disturbances, as well as the operability of the web interface in conditions of global access. Originality. An architectural solution has been proposed that integrates a web-oriented SCADA platform with industrial-level control algorithms, enabling the implementation of a remote laboratory complex for compressor units and other similar systems with the ability to control and visualise the process in a multi-user environment. Practical value. The developed testbench can be used in the educational process to develop practical skills in the field of automated electric drive, control engineering, as well as in scientific research to test control algorithms and analyse the characteristics of compressor systems. The results obtained create the prerequisites for further scaling of the system and expanding its functionality.
