Rural area sustainable development represents one of the main aspects of prosperity, enabling countries to strengthen their economy, improve living conditions, and create new opportunities for growth. Different criteria from the areas of economic sustainability, infrastructure and access to services, community participation and resource management, geographical location, and social sustainability were determined, and three appropriate multi-criteria decision-making methods were applied; the most significant sub-criteria for rural area development were diversification of the economy, connection with urban areas, and innovations in agriculture and tourism. Also, rankings of sub-criteria were performed, and the similarity of the rankings was checked, making the fuzzy AHP algorithms suitable for estimating the influence of factors on rural areas development. Based on the results obtained, some strategies of underdeveloped area economic growth and sustainable development were presented.
This paper presents the practical implementation of a secure AI chatbot in a cloud environment, with a focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The research ana-lyzes organizational structure, implementation goals, and challenges in deploying an AI chatbot. It also includes a comparative review of technologies, legal aspects related to copyrights, intellectual property protection, and defense mechanisms against cyberattacks. The proposed solution integrates AWS services such as Amazon Lex, Bedrock, S3, EC2, IAM, and WAF. The implementation ensures scalability, security, and compliance with legal frameworks, while results confirm improved business efficiency and resilience against threats
Cloud Computing is becoming a key technology in modern IT environments; however, many organizations continue to face numerous challenges in ensuring the security and reliability of their e-mail systems. The goal of this paper is to present the enhancement of cloud infrastructure through the implementation of Mailcow and pfSense platforms, emphasizing security, reliability, stability, and efficiency of e-mail systems. The implementation was carried out in a virtual en-vironment using the VMware Type 2 hypervisor. The Docker Mailcow server was deployed on an Ubuntu 18.04 operating system, while the pfSense software was configured as a firewall solution for network traffic control and virtual infra-structure protection. All virtual machines within the virtual environment were connected to pfSense, enabling centralized management, filtering, and monitoring of network operations. The results demonstrated that the combination of Mailcow and pfSense platforms improved performance, stability, and security of the e-mail system, while simplifying user privilege and access management. This research may serve as a practical model for educational and business organizations aiming to enhance their e-mail and network systems through the use of open-source technologies in cloud environments.
