Michelina Soccio has been a researcher
Senior in the disciplinary sector Chemical Fundamentals of Technologies
(CHIM/07) at the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials
Engineering of the University of Bologna since June 2017. She earned a degree
in Industrial Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Industrial Chemistry from the Department
of Organic Chemistry, Faculty of Industrial Chemistry, University of Bologna in
2004 and 2008 respectively. She completed her first Post-Doc research contract
at the University of Bologna from 2009 to 2010 and her second Post-Doc contract
at the Instituto de Estructura de la Materia of the Consejo Superior de
Investigaciones Cientificas (IEM-CSIC) of Madrid from 2011 to 2013. She was
selected for a Post-Doc research contract at the Pennsylvania State
University's Material Science and Engineering in 2014. In April 2017 she earned
the National Scientific Qualification as associate professor. She is a member
of the Editorial Board of the international scientific journal Polymers and
Frontiers in Chemistry. She serves as a referee of international journals in
the field of Materials Sciences.
